Be Bold!!

I was watching this YouTube video and the message was “be specific in your prayer request to God.” We have to say exactly what we want him to do. We can’t be all timid and tip -toeing.

You know how to be bold, you know how to say exactly what you mean. Like when those kids are acting up and not listening or your significant other is paying you no attention when you’re talking. Oh that didn’t happen to anyone else, just me, I get it. Well if it has happened to you, I know you were able to get your words together and say exactly what you meant and you meant exactly what you said.

There is no difference when we are submitting our prayer request to God. We have to speak clearly and be confident in exactly what we are requesting of him. Be clear, be specific, I am not saying to be disrespectful but I am saying we must to bold in our ask of him. Hebrews 4:16 says, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” I take this as telling me ask for what I need.

I hope you are being bold in what you are asking for in your life. If not, today is the day to get started. Matthew 7:7 tells us, 7Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: I told my mom this one time and she couldn’t do nothing but laugh. I knew better but I was going to try anyway. The WORD is telling us right there to ask, seek and knock and we will have, but if we’re speaking with a low voice, and tapping instead of knocking like we are in desperate need, we’ll never get what we want of GOD.

Let’s be bold, what do we have to lose?

    1. There is a Minister at my church that is always yelling at us “You better open up your mouth and say something.” When I was watching the video on YouTube I could just hear him.

He’s not going to move if we don’t ask. I gotta get bold with my asking.
