Chi's Pen

I’m laying across the bed with my phone connected to a portable battery charger, looking out the window into pure darkness. It has now been 30 hours since a thunderstorm came raging through the state. Some of the cities in the state didn’t experience a drop of rain, while others were left in the dark from strong winds and golf size hail.

Sometimes we are faced with unexpected storms in life and all we can do is wait them out. No need for anger, no need to be impatient. Just sit and wait, things will be restored sooner or later. Is it an inconvenience? Absolutely, but at least we have the pleasure of being on the other side of being restored.

Be glad you are able to wait for the lights to come back on and not one whose darkness is forever.
