Girl Dad

Today’s writing prompt (Talk about your father or a father figure in your life) brought up a flood of emotions. Wow, that was some prompt.

I started writing this morning and didn’t finish because I needed to get ready for work but the prompt was on my mind all day. It was as if I needed to hurry home and get the rest of my thoughts down on paper before I forgot them. I was able to write two complete pages, and I am sure I could write more using this prompt.

My dad and I didn’t always have the greatest relationship but the older I got the more we began to understand each other. There were still so many things we needed to discuss but our time was cut short with his unexpected passing.

I can say with certainty that I miss my dad. I bet he is giving God a time in heaven as they are watching all the craziness here on earth.

Please as always, like, share and leave a comment.

Your dad loved all his children, he just didn’t know how to show love. When he gave his life to Christ all the rough edges just dropped off and he opened up his heart to freely love and express that love.

    2. I wonder what was the cause if him not knowing how to show his love?

No need to go further with it here but if you know could you share it with me in email or phone call. I think it is important.
