Six Seconds

You have six seconds to make an impression on people good or bad. How do you choose to use your six?

Have you ever thought about how someone made you feel after you walked away from an encounter? You know, the one where the lady jumped in front of you in the grocery store line and tried her best not to look at you. Oh wait maybe it was the man who didn’t hold the door for you when you were two steps away. My favorite is when you pull up to that fast food speaker and get that voice that is just pleasant and welcoming, but it kind of throws you off at first because you’re not use to that. It doesn’t matter, people are going to be people. What matters is how you use the six seconds YOU have to make a person feel.

Remember, use your six wisely no matter how others are using theirs.

As always requested, leave a like, comment, and share. I appreciate you.đź’ť

  1. The first six seconds are definitely vital and make the biggest mark on someone. It’s always a good idea to try to leave a good first impression.

  2. I guess I don’t expect much out of people so if someone does something nice or they are pleasant to you I reply with a warm thank you to let them know I appreciate their thoughtfulness and if someone is rude I just ignore it, I won’t let their attitude mess up my day. I learned this years ago that life is 10% of what happens to you and 90% of how you react to it.

  3. Another amazing post. This was it for me. “Remember, use your six wisely no matter how others are using theirs.” I wonder where the world would be if everyone adopted this mindset.
